A Big Cock (2011)

This Panting of '' The Big Cock'' represents the contrast between the natural beauty of bird and artificial
decoration of human form.

The vibrant colors of the Cock arise from within the bird without the need for enhancement.

The Cock stands on the female human form which is colored red to represent the violence of mankind.

The small bird positioned between the legs of the cock shows freedom.

This bird can go anywhere without fear or restriction. this idea is taken further by the wide open landscape drawn beneath the woman's torso.

My Biography

My name is Champagne I am 25 years old bubbly and cheerful.I was born in Bangkok, my family used to have a small business just outside Bangkok.

When I was 18,I won a scholarship to study Textile
Design at university in Bangkok. I studied for 1 year and I did not enjoy the course so I changed to study Product Design instead.Although I did pretty well and was one of the top students in
the class I couldn’t complete the course because my family had some money problems.

Really I would have preferred to study Art but my family would not allow it as they were more concerned about job
security.

None of my family were artists although my grandfather was a famous healer in Southern Thailand using herbal remedies and Traditional Thai Massage. I have studied Thai massage at Wat Po
the oldest massage school in Thailand.

After I came to the UK I started my own massage business and started painting and attending various courses to improve my technique and learn new skills.I have been accepted for a BA Hons Fine Art
Degree course starting in September subject to passing an English IELTS test.
